The DM12/A24 and DM12/C24 Redundant Speed Probes are used for non contact rotating speed measurement of gearbox shaft on a tooth wheel as inpulse. Redundancy of coils and electronic circuits is used to ensure the system integrity and reliability.

The potted integrated electronics process the coil signal in order to get +24V (no load) square wave output signal which frequency is proportional to the teeth frequency of the wheel.

Than, the rotating speed is equal to n=f.60/z. (z being the number of teeth).

+24 Vdc power input voltage is stabilized and provides power for the internal electronics. Inputs and outputs are protected against interferences.
